Our team has expertise in many disciplines and backgrounds, including architecture, engineering, interior design and human resources. We are a firm that believes professionalism starts with responsiveness.
Kurt has numerous years of architectural and construction experience. He received his degree from Arizona State University in 1987. During his school years he worked in all facets of construction in New Jersey and Vermont, and completed his architectural internships at the Jersey Shore. He has extensive knowledge and relationships with local municipalities, building departments, and agencies. Kurt launched the firm of Kurt J. Ludwig, AIA at its current Milltown, NJ location in 1991. He shares his passion for architecture with his immediate team and professional consultants, including specialty civil engineers, structural engineers, MEPH engineers, and sustainable building design firms. His memberships include the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
With over 15 years of experience in the architectural industry, Erica is a seasoned interior designer specializing in commercial design and architecture. As a graduate of Drexel University with a BS in Interior Architecture & Design, she has an artistic background paired with technical skills and creative thinking.
Erica is known for her attention to detail and blend of functionality with thoughtful, inspired design. She is a team member with wide-ranging knowledge in construction drawings, project management, materials, and more. Erica enjoys helping clients, regardless of the project type, by transforming spaces through smart space planning and well-balanced design.
Pete is a Sr Project Manager since 2000. Pete graduated from Virginia Tech University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in computers, and possesses a great passion for design work. Having taken to drawing and drafting in high school and minoring in Art, Pete crossed over easily into the Architecture and Design management fields.
His earlier years grew to coordinating a drafting team for residential architecture projects. Pete later expanded into restaurant and millwork design as well as larger commercial work projects,including mixed use and multi-family projects. Pete easily coordinates with the other engineers on the projects as well as brings experience in dealing with township and state processes, regulations, and applications. He enjoys bringing the best ideas to a project to solve the many challenges that arise
Nikki holds a Bachelor of Architecture from CUNY City College of New York School of Architecture, Urban Design, and Landscape Architecture, graduated in 2003, Magna Cum Laude. Her expertise includes CAD drafting and building energy compliance for residential and commercial projects. She values accuracy, clarity, and efficient coordination with the design teams. She has worked the firm since 2021.
Kim has been a valued member of our team since 2018, serving as our Office Manager and helping keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently. With more than 30 years of experience in human resources, management, and customer service, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and a people-first approach to all she does. She is passionate about creating a supportive workplace environment and ensuring both employees and clients feel heard and cared for. Kim holds a B.S. in Management from Rutgers College/The School of Business. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending quality time with her family—especially making memories with her grandsons.
